The L.E.A.N. Expectations course focuses on workshops for pregnant and nursing moms. Includes topics such as Healthy Beginnings for Pregnancy, Nutrition During Pregnancy, and Transitioning from Pregnancy to Motherhood.

****Six-hour workshop series for parents or caregivers of children ages 3-12 available in a 6 week format. Parents attend workshops designed just for adults or for parents along with their children. Each class includes fun, interactive activities, lots of healthy snacks, and engaging, family-friendlyDVD segments. Participants also receive an 80-page Parents’ and Caregivers’ Guide, along with an activity book for their children.

Workshops for parents, teachers, and caregivers, WITHOUT children present. Nursing babies UNDER 6 months always welcome!
Introduction to Signing Time Presentation
30-60 minute presentation for smaller groups (moms group, libraries, preschools, etc...)
A presentation to demonstrate that ASL and singing is beneficial and fun for every single child, and to create a demand for community sign language resources and educational materials. Also, to fulfill the demand for community sign language resources through Signing Time Products and to create opportunities for children of all abilities to come together and play.
Signing Time Workshop
90 minute workshop
A workshop detailing the benefits, importance, and use of sign language with young babies and children. Includes activities to teach parents/caregivers some basic signs, and how to teach them to the children in their care, and implementing them in every day routines. Participants will also learn why we should use ASL, and not made up gestures, when signing with children. Handouts, video clips, and more will be used in this 1 1/2 hour presentation.
One-time, two-hour class that introduces the basic concepts of L.E.A.N. This option is ideal for busy parents who want to know more about the benefits of good nutrition in a shorter amount of time.
